Dr. Michael Welland is an Associate Professor in the Department of Engineering Physics at McMaster University, Canada. His research focuses on computational modeling of nuclear and energy materials, with applications in advanced manufacturing, hydrogen storage, and battery technologies. He previously served as a Senior Research Scientist at Canadian Nuclear Laboratories and has held postdoctoral positions at Argonne National Laboratories and the European Commission Joint Research Centre Karlsruhe.
