Michael W. Keller is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Associate Dean for Research at the College of Engineering & Computer Science, The University of Tulsa. He holds a Ph.D. in Theoretical and Applied Mechanics from the University of Illinois and earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution.
His research focuses on the experimental characterization of complex materials and the development of new polymers and composites with multifunctional capabilities such as self-healing and self-sensing. His expertise spans solid and experimental mechanics, fatigue, elastomers, and advanced composite material processing.
Keller has been recognized with numerous awards, including the NSF CAREER award, the University of Tulsa Outstanding Teacher and Researcher Awards, and honors from professional societies such as SAE and SEM.
