Michael Sullivan serves as an Associate Lecturer in the Department of Criminal Justice and Sociology at Curry College. Concurrently, he holds the position of Sergeant Detective with the Boston Police Department, where he oversees the Internet Crimes Against Children Unit and serves as a Task Force Officer with the FBI Boston Division’s Human Trafficking and Child Exploitation Task Force.

- Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Curry College (2000)
- Master’s in Criminal Justice from Boston University (2008)
- Graduate Certificate in Cybercrime Investigations and Cyber Security from Boston University (2020)
Mr. Sullivan's research and professional interests center on criminal justice with specialized expertise in cybercrime investigations, cyber security, and law enforcement responses to internet crimes against children. His work bridges academic theory with frontline policing experience, particularly focusing on human trafficking and child exploitation cases through collaboration with federal task forces. These interests are directly informed by his operational roles in the Boston Police Department's specialized units.
He actively contributes to federal law enforcement efforts as a Task Force Officer with the FBI Boston Division’s Human Trafficking and Child Exploitation Task Force, where he applies investigative techniques to combat these complex crimes.
