Michael Smith is a Senior Lecturer in Accounting and Finance at the University of Chester, serving as Programme Leader for the MSc Banking & Finance. He holds an MSc in International Accounting & Finance from the London School of Economics and a BSc in Economics from the University of Surrey. A Chartered Accountant (ACA) with over a decade of professional experience in global investment banking, he previously held senior roles as Managing Director at JPMorgan Chase and Executive Director at Morgan Stanley.
