Michael Rushman is a professional trombonist and music educator affiliated with multiple Southern California institutions. He serves as the Lecturer in Trombone at the University of California, Irvine (Claire Trevor School of the Arts, Department of Music), while also teaching at Chapman University, Biola University, and Irvine Valley College.

He regularly engages as a guest clinician for:
