Current work examines decarbonization pathways, electricity pricing reforms, and climate adaptation strategies.
Recent publications analyze transmission expansion for renewable integration, dynamic electricity pricing impacts, temperature effects on resource demand, and climate vulnerability of agricultural systems. His agricultural economics research established foundational understanding of heat impacts on crop yields.
Professor Roberts maintains active collaborations with engineers, climate scientists, and policymakers to address energy transition challenges and climate resilience in island contexts.
