Michael Rex is a Professor of English and Creative Writing at Cumberland University, affiliated with the Millard and JJ Oakley School of Humanities, Education, and the Arts. He holds a B.A. from Sam Houston State University, an M.A. from Texas A&M University, and a Ph.D. from Wayne State University. His research focuses on 16th-18th century British literature, Medieval and Arthurian literature, Queer Theory, and creative writing.
