Dr. Michael Remetz is an Associate Professor of Medicine (Cardiology) at Yale School of Medicine, where he has served continuously since 1987. He specializes in interventional cardiology, with expertise in coronary and peripheral vascular interventions, including stent procedures and cardiac catheterization. He holds clinical appointments at Yale-New Haven Hospital and Lawrence and Memorial Hospital, focusing on general cardiology, acute myocardial infarction management, and preventive cardiology.
Education: MD from Thomas Jefferson University (1981), residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital (1984), and fellowships in cardiovascular medicine and interventional cardiology at Yale (1986–1987). He completed additional training in peripheral interventions at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in 2000.
