Michael Reidy is a Professor in the Department of History & Philosophy at the University of Montana's College of Letters & Science. His research focuses on the history of science, exploration, and mountaineering, with particular emphasis on John Tyndall and Darwinian thought. He holds the Michael P. Malone Professorship in History and has received awards for teaching and research.
