His expertise extends to death and dying counseling, evidenced by lectures at Columbus State University and the Theological College of Zimbabwe during four mission trips. This work bridges ecclesiastical training with real-world applications in healthcare and corporate environments.
His 2011 dissertation on Business Ethics and Workplace Theology establishes foundational connections between Christian ethics and professional leadership, reflecting broader trends in faith-based organizational studies. This singular publication underscores a career-long focus on ethical frameworks for workplace spirituality rather than conventional academic publishing.
Professional recognition includes Board Certified Chaplain (BCC) status through the Association of Professional Chaplains (2004) and leadership roles such as President of the Georgia Society of Health Care Chaplains.
As an educator, Dr. Stewart mentors through the MDiv Chaplain Ministries program while advising Reformed Theological Seminary’s Chaplain Ministry Institute on hospital chaplaincy standards. His PRCC commissioner role and mission work across Africa, Japan, and China demonstrate global engagement in chaplaincy training.
