Michael Quinn

Michael Quinn, M.D., Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. He joined the faculty in 2023 after completing his fellowship at Washington University School of Medicine.

His educational background includes:

Dr. Quinn's research focuses on viral infections and vaccines, particularly in the context of immune responses. His work spans T and B cell responses to pathogens such as Cytomegalovirus and SARS-CoV-2, with a special interest in patients living with HIV. He is actively involved in clinical trials and medical education.

His recent publications (2024-2010) demonstrate a consistent trajectory in immunology and virology, with a shift from basic research on Cytomegalovirus to applied studies on SARS-CoV-2 vaccination in immunocompromised populations.
