Michael Pollmann is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Duke University’s Trinity College of Arts & Sciences. His research focuses on econometrics, causal inference, and machine learning, with a particular emphasis on spatial data analysis and healthcare economics. He holds a PhD from Stanford University (2022), where he also earned an MA (2020) and served as a teaching assistant and instructor for econometrics and math courses.

Research Interests: Pollmann develops novel econometric methods for causal inference, including semi-parametric approaches for randomized experiments and spatial treatment analysis.
