Michael Pelzner

COL Michael Pelzner is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS) School of Medicine. A distinguished military physician, he serves as Chief Surgeon of the Army National Guard Bureau and has held leadership roles in medical readiness transformation across the Army. His career spans academic pediatrics, clinical service, and strategic military leadership.
