Col. Kimberly A. McCue serves as Mobilization Assistant to the Commander of Medical Readiness Command-Bravo and Director of Defense Health Network Continental, overseeing medical readiness for 12,000+ personnel across 33 units. As a Citizen Airman, she holds dual roles: certified family nurse practitioner with the U.S. Navy Department of Public Health Services in Quantico, and Adjunct Associate Professor in Biostatistics at USUHS School of Medicine.
Her academic foundation includes a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Old Dominion University (2016), Master of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner studies from University of Maryland (2001), and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from George Mason University (1999). Military education encompasses Squadron Officer School (2002), Air Command and Staff College (2007), and Air War College (2012).
McCue's research intersects military medical operations with public health, focusing on aeromedical evacuation systems, medical readiness for combat environments, and infection control protocols in deployed settings. Her 30-year Air Force Reserve career demonstrates expertise in scaling medical infrastructure for high-stress operations.
While her military decorations include the Legion of Merit and Meritorious Service Medal with two oak leaf clusters, her academic contributions center on training future medical personnel through USUHS instruction and operational leadership in defense health networks.
As Mobilization Assistant to the Air Force Surgeon General's Medical Operations Director (2022-2024), she shaped force-wide medical policy before assuming current command responsibilities. Her Navy Public Health role complements academic instruction in biostatistical applications for military population health.
