Prof. Dr. Michael Pankratz leads the Molecular Brain Physiology and Behavior department at the University of Bonn's Life & Medical Sciences Institute (LIMES). His research employs Drosophila models to investigate neural circuits governing feeding behavior, combining genetic tools, electrophysiology, and connectomics to understand how metabolic and sensory factors modulate motor programs.
