Barry Dickson

Professor Barry Dickson is a Professorial Research Fellow at the Queensland Brain Institute, University of Queensland. He was recently elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society in May 2024 in recognition of his 30+ years of contribution to neuroscience. His research primarily focuses on understanding neural circuits in Drosophila melanogaster (fruit flies), particularly those controlling behavior, locomotion, and courtship.
