Michael O’Shea is a Professor of Law at Oklahoma City University School of Law. He serves as Associate Director of the Center for State Constitutional Law and Government. His expertise focuses on firearms law, the Second Amendment, and constitutional law. He co-authored the seminal casebook Firearms Law and the Second Amendment: Regulation, Rights, and Policy (2012). Prior to academia, he practiced commercial litigation in Chicago and Kansas City, and clerked for federal appellate judges.
