Michael O’Rourke is a Professor of Philosophy at Michigan State University (MSU), affiliated with AgBioResearch and the Environmental Science & Policy Program. He serves as Executive Director of the Toolbox Dialogue Initiative (TDI) Center, Director of the Center for Interdisciplinarity (C4I), and holds leadership roles in interdisciplinary research initiatives. His work focuses on epistemic integration, communication in cross-disciplinary research, and environmental philosophy. He has led projects funded by NSF, NASA, and other agencies, addressing topics like biodiversity conservation, sustainable agriculture, and autonomous systems.
