Michael O Frank, MD, is a Professor and Chief of the Division of Infectious Diseases at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW). He serves as Vice Chair for Education in the Department of Medicine and oversees the HIV care and research program. Dr. Frank has held leadership roles including Internal Medicine Residency Program Director (2004-2017) and is actively involved in clinical trials for HIV management strategies.
- Education: Medical Degree from University of Wisconsin Medical School (1988); Residency and Fellowship at University of Virginia Medical Center (1988-1991, 1991-1994).
Dr. Frank’s research focuses on HIV infection management, antiretroviral therapy, and immunologic interventions. He leads clinical trials exploring novel antiviral strategies and contributes to medical education reform through publications on fellowship recruitment and resident assessment.
