Sol Del Mar Aldrete

Sol Del Mar Aldrete, MD is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW). She serves as an Associate Fellowship Program Director and practices at Froedtert Hospital and Vivent Health. Dr. Aldrete specializes in infectious diseases with a focus on HIV care, particularly immune non-response to antiretroviral therapies and CD4 T-cell recovery patterns. She also contributes to infectious disease consultations in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

• Education: MD from Universidad Panamericana (2009), Internal Medicine residency (2013), and Infectious Diseases fellowship (2016) at Emory University.

Her research investigates CD4 T-cell dynamics in HIV patients, aiming to predict adverse outcomes through immune recovery metrics.
