Michael O'Flatherty is an Adjunct Professor of Human Rights and International Justice at Maynooth University's School of Law and Criminology. He currently serves as Director of the Fundamental Rights Agency of the European Union, having previously held leadership roles at the Irish Centre for Human Rights (NUI Galway) and the Human Rights Law Centre (University of Nottingham). His appointment in 2016 strengthened the university's focus on human rights education through modules, an LLM, and PG Diploma in International Justice.
