Michael Ntiriakwa

Michael Ntiriakwa is a PhD candidate at Kühne Logistics University (Hamburg, Germany) under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Johannes Meuer and Prof. Dr. Christina Raasch. He also serves as a Research Associate at the Center for Sustainable Logistics and Supply Chains since 2022.

• Education: B.Sc. in Human Settlement Planning (Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology, Ghana); M.Sc. in Environmental Management (Christian Albrecht University, Kiel, Germany); M.Sc. in Environmental & Resource Economics (Christian Albrecht University, Kiel, Germany).
• Professional Experience: Project Manager at Ghana Union Kiel Schleswig-Holstein; Quality Improvement Team Member at Korlebu Teaching Hospital (Accra, Ghana); Basic School Teacher (Accra, Ghana).

His research focuses on digital platforms, corporate sustainability, waste management, urban planning, and the platform economy, with a specific emphasis on the impact of eCommerce platforms on sustainable supply chains in the retail industry.

• Leadership: President of the Ghana Students’ Association in Kiel, Germany; guest student in the M.Sc. Environmental and Resource Economics program at CAU Kiel.
