معرفی
Michael Nodine is an EPS Associate Professor at the Laboratory of Molecular Biology, Wageningen University & Research. His research focuses on plant developmental biology, epigenetics, and RNA processing, particularly in Arabidopsis. He investigates mechanisms underlying embryogenesis, small RNA regulation, and epigenetic reprogramming in early plant development.
Key research interests include the role of PLETHORA transcription factors in embryo development, the function of phasiRNAs in Zea genus, and the interplay between RNA processing and polyembryony. His work employs advanced techniques like single-cell RNA sequencing and chromatin profiling to study plant cell biology.
Dr. Nodine co-supervises multiple PhD projects, including studies on small RNA inheritance, microspore embryogenesis, and epigenetic regulatory networks. He contributes to datasets on transcript reconstruction (e.g., nanoPARE) and collaborates internationally on plant developmental biology projects.
