Michael Mulryan is a Professor at Christopher Newport University (CNU) in the Department of Modern and Classical Languages and Literatures since 2009. He teaches French literature, language, and interdisciplinary courses for the Honors Program and Museum Studies Minor.

Publications: Authored a monograph on Mercier (2023) and co-edited/translated Mercier's treatise on moral education (2020). Published in journals like French Studies in Southern Africa, Lingua Romana, and Cithara: Essays in the Judaeo-Christian Tradition.
