Dr. Michael McShane is a Professor in the Department of Finance at Old Dominion University's Strome College of Business. His research focuses on Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Cyber Risk Management and Insurance, and Property-Casualty Insurance. He has secured significant federal and private grants, including a $1.2M Digital Twin project for cyber-insurance evaluation.

He has advised numerous RMI students and collaborates with organizations like Google Cloud and Rivian Automotive.
