Michael McHenry

Michael E. McHenry is a Professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University with expertise in soft magnetic nanocomposites for power applications, field processing of materials, and structural/magnetic property characterization. His research has been supported by major grants including a Multidisciplinary University Research Initiative (MURI) and ARPA-E program. He has over 350 publications with 11,000+ citations.

• High-temperature magnetic materials for aerospace
• Rare earth material alternatives
• Nanocomposite processing and characterization
