Michael M. Johns, MD is a Clinical Professor of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery and Director of Medical Student Education at the Keck School of Medicine of USC. He founded the USC Voice Center, focusing on interdisciplinary care for voice, swallowing, and airway disorders. His academic roles include leading the Division of Laryngology and advancing gender-affirming voice care. Johns completed undergraduate studies in Economics at the University of Virginia, earned his MD from Johns Hopkins, and trained in Otolaryngology at the University of Michigan, followed by a fellowship at Vanderbilt’s Voice Center.
