Michael Lucey is Professor of Finance and Director of Education at Durham University Business School, where he oversees undergraduate and postgraduate programs. A Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, his scholarship focuses on behavioral finance, asset pricing, and investment strategy performance.
His research examines psychological barriers in commodity pricing and data frequency effects in equity trading strategies. Lucey has held leadership roles including Programme Director for BSc Finance and Director of Undergraduate Admissions.
