Dr Michael Loy is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Classics and Ancient History at Durham University. His research focuses on Archaic and Classical Greece, with a particular emphasis on digital methods and emerging technologies in archaeology. He holds a PhD from the University of Cambridge and has held roles including Assistant Director of the British School at Athens and a Leverhulme Early Career Fellow at Cambridge. Loy is also Director of Studies in Classics at Queens’ College, Cambridge.
