Sir Michael Levey LVO FBA served as the Slade Professor at the University of Cambridge's Department of History of Art from 1963 to 1964. He held significant roles outside academia, including Deputy Keeper and later Director of The National Gallery in London. His expertise spans art history, with a focus on Medieval and Renaissance art, 18th- and 19th-century art, and modern and contemporary art.
