Michael Koch

Michael Koch is a Senior Lecturer and Editor of Epoch Literary Magazine since 1989. He holds a BA from LaSalle University, an MFA from Wichita State University, and was a Wallace Stegner Fellow in Fiction and Jones Lecturer in Creative Writing at Stanford University. His research focuses on Creative Writing, Contemporary American Short Fiction, and Contemporary Fiction of the American South.

He oversees academic programs including the MFA in Creative Writing and PhD in English Language and Literature, contributing to guides and procedural resources for students. His editorial role at Epoch underscores his commitment to literary curation.
