Michael K.C. Tam is a Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Waterloo and a University Research Chair. His research focuses on nanomaterials, polymer science, and sustainable technologies for water purification, biomedical applications, and environmentally friendly coatings. He leads projects on self-assembly systems, atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP), and cellulose nanocrystal functionalization in collaboration with Celluforce Inc.
