Michael Janowitz is a Research Associate at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg, affiliated with the Faculty of Philosophy III and the Department of Social Pedagogy/Social Work. His work integrates democracy education, organizational pedagogy, and critical analysis of precariousness in social work, particularly in Eastern Germany.

He actively collaborates with practitioners in projects like Encountering Diversity on Site and engages in international conferences on organizational pedagogy.
