Dr. Michael James White is a Senior Lecturer in German at the University of St Andrews, part of the School of Modern Languages. He holds an office in Room 213 of the Buchanan building and offers office hours on Mondays and Thursdays. His research focuses on 19th-century German literature, with particular emphasis on authors such as Theodor Fontane, Goethe, and Torquato Tasso.
