Michael J. Kelly is the Prince Philip Professor of Technology at the University of Cambridge (2002–present) and a Non-Executive Director at Laird (2006–present). His academic career spans roles including Professor of Physics and Electronics at the University of Surrey (1992–2006), Head of the School of Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, and Mathematics (1997–2001), and Director of the Centre for Solid State Electronics (2001–2002). He is a Fellow of the Royal Society and Royal Academy of Engineering.
