Michael J. Englesbe

Michael J. Englesbe is a Professor of Surgery at the University of Michigan Medical School, serving as Cyrenus G Darling Sr M.D. Professor and Cyrenus G Darling Jr M.D. Professor. He holds leadership roles as Associate Chair of the Department of Transplant Surgery, Medical Director of UMMG, and Section Head of Transplant Surgery.

His research focuses on opioid stewardship, postoperative pain management, and health policy.
