Michael Hoffman

Michael Hoffman is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Notre Dame. His research focuses on comparative politics, particularly the intersection of religion and political behavior, and the impact of sectarianism on democratic institutions.

Recent Publications appear in journals such as Journal of Politics, British Journal of Political Science, and Democratization, covering topics from communal religious practices to the role of race in abortion attitudes. His work combines quantitative analysis with case studies and longitudinal research.
