معرفی
Anthony Hoffman is a Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Notre Dame's College of Engineering, specializing in mid-infrared and THz optoelectronics. His work focuses on quantum phenomena, optical material engineering, and device fabrication. He can be reached at ajhoffman@nd.edu.
Research Interests: Hoffman's research centers on quantum engineering of semiconductor materials, particularly through layer-by-layer design of thin films for customized optical, electrical, and quantum properties. His laboratory develops and characterizes novel optoelectronic devices for mid-infrared and terahertz applications, including super-black materials, metamaterials, and high-efficiency photovoltaics.
