Michael Haist

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Michael Haist is a Professor of Building Materials at the Institute for Building Materials, Leibniz University Hannover, within the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geodesy. His research focuses on rheology of cement-bound systems, creep and shrinkage of concrete, and sustainable construction materials. He holds a diploma in civil engineering from Karlsruhe University and has held roles including Chief Engineer at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and Visiting Scientist at MIT.
