Michael H. Casson Jr.

Michael H. Casson Jr. is Interim Dean and Director of the University Center for Economic Development and International Trade (UCEDIT) and the Economic Development and Leadership Institute (EDLI) at Delaware State University. He holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of Connecticut, an M.A. in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and a B.A. in Economics from Florida A&M University. His research focuses on economic development, applied policy analysis, political economy models, and the economics of education.

Dr. Casson has conducted extensive commissioned research, including studies on small business inclusion, workforce development, and international trade hubs. His work spans urban policy, university economic impact analyses, and educational policy.
