Michael Epple is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science, Public Administration & History at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU), affiliated with the College of Arts & Sciences. His research focuses on Cold War history, American religious history, and 20th-century U.S. political dynamics. Epple holds a Ph.D. (2001) from the University of Akron, M.A. and MLS (1984) from Indiana University, and a B.A. (1982) from Franklin College.
