Michael Elowitz

Michael B. Elowitz is an Assistant Adjunct Professor of Biological Chemistry at UCLA School of Medicine. As Principal Investigator on multiple NIH grants, he leads research on synthetic biology, cellular computation, and cell lineage recording technologies.

Research focuses on designing synthetic gene and protein circuits that enable programmable cellular behaviors.
