Michael Edwards

Michael Edwards is a Professor in the Department of Classics at Royal Holloway, University of London. He holds a PhD in Classics (1982) and a First Class BA in Classics (1978). His research focuses on ancient Greek oratory, legal evidence, and rhetorical practices in classical antiquity, contributing to UN Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education). He leads the ongoing project 'Places in the Attic Orators' (2020–present).
