Michael Duduit serves as founding Dean of the College of Christian Studies and Clamp Divinity School at Anderson University, holding the academic rank of Professor of Christian Ministry since joining the institution in 2008. He simultaneously directs major international initiatives including Preaching magazine (founded 1985), the National Conference on Preaching, and the International Congress on Preaching.
His educational foundation includes a BA in Speech and Theater from Stetson University, an MDiv from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Ph.D. in Humanities (Religion concentration) from Florida State University.
Dr. Duduit's scholarly work centers on homiletics and ecclesiastical leadership, with significant contributions to American church history through publications like the Handbook of Contemporary Preaching. His research bridges academic theology and practical ministry, emphasizing effective communication in pastoral contexts and historical analysis of preaching traditions.
As former President of both the Evangelical Homiletics Society and Baptist Communicators Association, he maintains active leadership in professional organizations. His graduate seminars at Anderson University focus on discussion-based learning and student research, reflecting his commitment to developing next-generation church leaders through the university's mission-driven environment.
