Dr. Michael Douglas, LAT, ATC, ITAT is an Assistant Professor at Morehouse College and a Teaching Associate in Public Health at Morehouse School of Medicine. He transitioned to academia after a distinguished career in professional sports, serving as Director of Sports Medicine for the Atlanta Dream and Head Athletic Trainer for the Golden State Warriors (NBA). His work focuses on musculoskeletal rehabilitation techniques and expanding healthcare access through athletic training.

Dr. Douglas specializes in the Fibular Head Repositioning Technique, Mulligan Concept Mobilizations with Movement (MWM), and pain reduction for chronic ankle instability. His research explores athletic training’s role in healthcare systems, informed by his experience in sports medicine and biomechanics.
