Michael Diamond

Michael Diamond, MD, PhD, serves as the Herbert S Gasser Professor of Medicine at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, with primary affiliation in the School of Medicine.

His research spans critical domains of Medicine, Pathology, and Immunology, focusing on viral pathogenesis and immune responses to emerging pathogens. This work integrates molecular microbiology and translational approaches to address global infectious disease threats.
