Michael Daniele is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering and the Lampe Joint Department of Biomedical Engineering at North Carolina State University (NC State). He joined the faculty in 2015 and focuses on the application of soft nanomaterials to engineer devices for biological monitoring, mimicking, and augmentation. His research spans wearable/implantable biosensors, organ-on-a-chip models, and human-machine interfaces. He holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science & Engineering from Clemson University (2012) and a B.S. from Rutgers University (2009).
