Michael Cowen is a Lecturer in the Department of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences at Clemson University's College of Science. He holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Clemson University (2022), M.S. from University of North Carolina Wilmington (2013), and B.S. in Applied Mathematics from North Carolina State University (2011).
His teaching portfolio includes Business Calculus I & II, Introduction to Ordinary Differential Equations, and Business Statistics. His research interests focus on applied mathematics education and curriculum development.
