Michael Coughlan

Michael Coughlan is an Associate Research Professor and Associate Director of the Ecosystem Workforce Program at the University of Oregon, affiliated with the College of Arts and Sciences and the Department of Anthropology. His research focuses on the intersection of human societies and ecological systems, particularly through the lens of cultural burning and traditional ecological knowledge.
