Michael Camilleri

Michael Camilleri, M.D., D.Sc., is a Professor of Medicine, Pharmacology, and Physiology at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN. He serves as a Consultant in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology and the Department of Physiology & Biomedical Engineering. His research focuses on gastrointestinal motility disorders, obesity, and pharmacogenetics. He has held leadership roles including Executive Dean of the Department of Development at Mayo Clinic (2009–2017) and President of the American Neurogastroenterology and Motility Society (2008–2010).
